Halloween Happenings! If your non-profit group* (or a non-commercial group working to raise funds for a good cause) is having a Halloween event that’s open to the public, we’ll list it here for free.
What you need to tell us: the event name, the location, the dates and times it will be open, the price of admission and at least one contact number for people to call if they have questions.

October 26: Halloween at Hands On! in Gray hosts its annual Halloween-themed event which will include candy, games, science experiments, crafts, and this year’s added perk of exhibit playtime! Stop by anytime between 5:30 and 7:30 and be sure to wear your most festive costume and bring your own trick-or-treat bag! Check their facebook page for more information.

October 27: Annual Halloween Festival, Carver Recreation Center, Johnson City. 6:00 – 9:00 pm. Kids in costume admitted free, adults in costume, $1, without, $2. Costume contest. Games include blowups, basketball shot, football toss and more. For information, call 434.5749

October 27: King Alleyween Trick or Treat, zombie dancing, local food and beverages, free movie showing, pumpkin carving contest and more, Gate City.
October 31: Annual Sullivan County Sheriff Office’s Trunk or Treat, 5:30 – 7:30 pm, Blountville Middle School’s track and football field. All Sullivan County departments have been invited to participate.
